Having been born and raised in Townsville, Renae moved to Melbourne to study law at Monash University. After completing her law degree in 2007 and being admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria, Renae returned to practise law in her home town of Townsville.

In 2010, Renae obtained her Masters degree specialising in Family Law. Renae is a Collaboratively Trained Lawyer and is able to offer her client’s participation in the Collaborative Practice Process in addition to traditional litigation in order to resolve their Family Law matter. Renae has also been appointed to the Independent Children’s Panel which allows her to act on behalf of children in parenting matters when appointed by the court.

Renae has over 7 years experience as a lawyer practising solely in the area of Family Law. She combines her understanding of the law with a practical and realistic approach to resolving even the most intractable family law disputes. Renae realises the importance of families being able to move forward with their lives in difficult circumstances after seperation.

Renae is a skilled negotiator and advocate. She applies her extensive experience and expertise to act assertively on behalf of her clients in negotiations, mediations and Court proceedings. Renae empowers her clients by keeping them informed of all of the options available and providing detailed advice and recommendations as to how to proceed.
